The calling hours are on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third St., North Andover. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Michaels Parish in North Andover. Burial will follow at the Ridgewood Cemetery also in North Andover
Obituary
Kenneth F. Chenard, 70, of North Andover died May 20, 2013, at Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston. He was born June 7, 1942, to the late Alcide and Nellie (Burton) Chenard. Ken was a lifelong resident of North Andover and graduate of North Andover High School. He also attended St. Michaels Parish. Ken loved trains and belonged to many train clubs including Waushakum Live Steamers and Montreal Live Steamers. He had a special love for cats and had taken care of many strays throughout his life. Most of all he was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Marilyn (McDermott) Chenard who died Nov. 28, 2012. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his son, Bruce and his wife AnnMarie Chenard of Kingston; daughter, Christine Chenard of North Andover; and his stepdaughter, Cyndi and her husband Brian Flynn of Dover, N.H.; grandchildren Marc, Alyssa and Andrew Chenard, Conor and Emma Flynn. Family and friends are invited to calling hours Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third St., North Andover.
